2. Pre-Condition Floor Your floor receives the correct pH balanced cleansing solution, softening and loosening all the embedded soil without damaging your floors finish.
3. Good Old Fashion Grout Scrubbing: Your grout lines get scrubbed with professional brushes specially designed to achieve maximum agitation, further loosening and lifting unwanted soil.
4. High Traffic Area Treatment: In your heavy traffic areas we may apply an additional treatment if needed to further loosen and dissolve stubborn dirt in the grout of your heavy traffic areas. This grout cleaning step may be repeated more than once depending on the severity of the grout staining.
5. Hot Steam Full Extraction: Lifts out deeply embedded soil, dirt and germs from the grout leaving your tile floor revived, germ free and looking great.
6. Final Inspection: When we're finishing your grout cleaning job, you and your technician make sure everything meets or exceeds your expectations. We will take the time to recommend the correct products for routine mopping of your tile floor.
7. Finishing Details: Your job is finished only after we towel dry it presenting you a tile floor that sparkles and looks as if it was just installed. We replace any moved furniture.

Our equipment concentrates the high-pressure steam and extraction pressure with extreme force removing even the worst stains from severely soiled grout lines. With adjustable pressure from 500psi to 2000psi our equipment is suitable for large areas, tight corners and edges and as a detail tool. At Pro-Tech we couple this cutting edge equipment with good old fashion elbow grease and professional scrubbing tools specially designed for maximum agitation and reaching hard to access areas. Special cornering brushes may be applied as needed.

Avoid these methods of cleaning floors

Bleach and Vinegar - Both of these products are highly acidic and were not designed to clean tile floors. Vinegar can dull and damage your floors finish and bleach can significantly lighten or even burn "bleach out" any color you have in your grout.

Dish Soap and other soap cleaners and detergents - Although this appears to work fine at first, eventually you may notice that the grout is getting darker in the traffic areas. Dish soap and other soap cleaners in general are viscous (thick and sticky) so they never get completely rinsed away. Every time you use a soap cleaner a residue builds up and actually attract more dirt that will become harder and harder to remove every time you clean your tile floor. In general, typical household cleaners simply don't have the ability to effectively get the job done and don't completely rinse away leaving an unwanted residue in the grout. For normal maintenance consider using products specifically designed for tile floors.

Muriatic and Phosphori Acids - Never, under any circumstances, use either of these chemicals for grout cleaning. Both are extremely aggressive and will etch (eat away at) your tile and grout's surface and cause discoloration and erosion.

Steel Brushes and Aggressive Scrub Pads - Both can damage and severely scratch the tile surface. If you're considering using these because your grout is that hard to clean you need to contact a professional tile / grout cleaner.
